Mito What? is the question most often asked when friends ask others to join them for a walk or run event. Mitochondrial disease is the body's inability to turn food into the energy to sustain life. Every 30 minutes a child is diagnosed with a mitochondrial disease, or will develop one by the age of 10.

When you join the Mito Walk & Family Fun Day you are raising funds to promote research and education for the diagnosis, treatment and cure of mitochondrial disease. These funds also help provide support to affected individuals and families.

Please join us on October 10th to raise money and awareness of mitochondrial disease.
